If At First You Don't Succeed...

then pry, pry again! This month will be about levers, one of the so-called simple machines. You probably think of a lever as a long stick for moving something heavy, but levers also form the basis for devices like scissors, a seesaw, and even your jaw! You'll learn about the three classes of levers, and go on a lever-hunt through your home. Test your strength with a lever, and see whether you can move really heavy objects. Design a lever-based launcher and see how far you can fling an object!
